We invite you to join us from October 21 to 25, 2024 in Jena, for our EEBIOMASS Summer School!
This Summer School will introduce you to the different dimensions of the Earth Explorer Mission BIOMASS and trains you in Earth observation related topics! You will learn about the mission objectives, the technical background (such as SAR, Tomography, Interferometry and Polarimetry) and related research topics. The target group of the summer school are (early career) scientists from the fields of remote sensing, forestry and earth system sciences.

Notifications of acceptance will be sent no later than by the August 12, 2024.
The event and meals are free of charge, but the travel and accommodation costs are not included and are at own cost. The Project Office Biomass is able to provide financial support for a few participants, so do not hesitate to apply.
The EEBIOMASS Summer School 2024 is jointly organized by the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry (MPI-BGC), the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena (FSU), the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
